Kingsley Okonkwo, who hails from Okporo in Orlu L.G.A IMO State, has
alergely stabbed his 12year old junior sister (Chioma Okonkwo) on 1 January 2016 at about 2:56:35pm over chicken lap.
While he was being questioned/interviewed, he said " My mum bought the live chicken while coming back from the market a day before new year. When we came back from church, my mum and my immidiate elder sister went to the kitchen to prepare the new year meal, while me and my junior sister whom is dead now (crying uncontrolable) went to back of the house to slutter the chicken". When i was now cutting the chicken into pieces, my junior sister took the chicken lap from the bowl and said "i will be the one to eat this lap". So i asked her to keep it back inside the bowl, she then ran away with the meat, while i took the kitchen knife and ran after too.
After few minutes of chasing her, she fell to the floor and was breething fast. When i tried collecting the meat from her, she refused to give it back to me So i angrily stabbed her on her chest with the knife i was holding..please forgive me he pleaded".
The deceded was rushed to the nearby hospital were she was confermed Dead. While the brother was arrested for further investigations.
