[A Must See] The 17 Famous Logos With A Hidden Meaning That We Never Even Notice (Photos)

[A Must See] The 17 Famous Logos With A Hidden Meaning That We Never Even Notice (Photos)

It turns out that some of the most well-known logos in the world were designed to indicate something much more than simple beauty.
In fact, it seems that in some cases, every line, curve and color has meaning behind it.
Here are 17 famous logos with hidden meanings that we never noticed before. Fascinating!

17. Hyundai

Many people are inclined to think that the logo of the South Korean conglomerate Hyundai is simply the first letter of its name. But actually, the letter ’Н’ symbolises two people (a client and a representative of the company) shaking hands.

16. Adidas

The name Adidas is derived from that of its founder, Adolf Dassler. The company’s logo has changed over time, but it’s always included three stripes.
The current configuration is three stripes at an angle which together form a triangle. This symbolises a mountain, which in turn represents the challenges which all athletes have to overcome.

15. Apple

Rob Yanov, the designer who created with the world-famous Apple company logo, has explained how he came up with the idea: ’I bought a whole bag of apples, placed them in a bowl, and spent time drawing them for a week, trying to break the image down into something simple.
Taking a bite out of an apple was part of the experiment, and completely by coincidence I realised that ’bite’ sounded exactly the same as the computer term ’byte’.

14. Sony Vaio

The first two letters of the logo of Sony Vaio make up a wave, which represents an analogue symbol, whereas the last two are similar to the numbers 1 and 0 — that is, symbols of a digital signal.

13. Amazon

At first glance, Amazon’s logo appears to be nothing special. But it was designed with the philosophy of the company in mind.
The orange arrow is similar to a smile, as the company wants its customers to be satisfied.
The arrow is also stretched between the letters ’A’ and ’Z’, in a hint that the company sells absolutely every product imaginable (’from A to Z’).

12. Baskin-Robbins

The pink-colored areas of the “BR” part of the logo here make up the number 31, which is the number of different flavors of ice cream that Baskin-Robbins used to famously sell.

11. Toyota

Many people have compared the logo of the Japanese car-producer Toyota to the image of a cowboy wearing a stereotypical hat. But it actually represents a stylised image of the eye of a needle with a thread passed through it.
This is a hint at the company’s past — of a time when it used to produce weaving machines. At the same time, the individual parts of the logo also spell out the letters of the company’s name.

10. Continental

Continental, a famous producer of car tires, has a logo in which the first two letters depict the wheel of an automobile.

9. Formula 1

If you look carefully at the white space between the letter ’F’ and the red stripes in the Formula 1 logo, you can see the number 1.
The red stripes of the logo are also meant to be a graphical representation of the speed achieved by Formula 1 cars.

8. Pinterest

The logo of the popular internet site Pinterest, which people use to collect images they like from across net and ’pin’ them to their online notice board, has the image of a pin hidden in the letter P.

7. Beats

Beats, a producer of audio equipment based in the USA, uses a logo in which the letter ’B’ looks like a person wearing headphones.

6. Toblerone

Toblerone, the famous chocolate company based in Bern, Switzerland, includes a silhouette of a bear in its logo, on account of the fact that Bern is sometimes called a city of bears.

5. BMW

It’s often supposed that the central part of the BMW logo symbolizes the rotating blades of an airplane, in line with the company’s early history of aviation technology, but it is in fact simply a part of the Bavarian flag — the area of Germany where the company originated.

4. LG

The logo of the South Korean electronics company LG is a stylized image of a person’s face.
According to the company, this represents its aspiration to maintain ordinary, human relations with its customers.

3. Evernote

Elephants are known for having impressive memories, including their ability to remember both faces and events. It’s for this reason that Evernote, a note-taking application, uses an image of the animal as part of its logo.
The corner of the elephant’s ear, moreover, is folded over — in the same way that people often fold the corner of a page in a book to make note of what point they’ve read up to.

2. Coca-Cola

In the world-famous logo of the Coca-Cola Company, in the space between the letters ’O’ and ’L’, one can clearly see the Danish flag.
Purely a coincidence, the company has nevertheless used this as part of it’s marketing campaigns in the Scandinavian country.

1. Pepsi

It’s hard to believe, but Pepsi paid over a million dollars to create this special logo with its secret meanings.
The new special design hints at mysterious and secretive themes, such as the Earth’s magnetic field, Feng shui, Pythagoras, geodynamics, the theory of relativity, and the golden ratio.
The designer has explained that this logo also makes reference to the Mona Lisa, the Parthenon, and even René Descartes.
The red, white and blue colors have always represented the American flag.

First-built 1931 Bugatti Type 55 could                fetch $5 million at auction

The very first example built of the 1931
Bugatti Type 55, one of the rarest and most coveted sports cars of the 1930s, has hit the auction block, and it won't come cheap. California auction house Gooding & Co. expects the two-seater to fetch between $4 million and $5 million next month in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Stamped chassis 55201, this particular model is reportedly the first of just 38 Type 55 units Bugatti made from 1931 through 1935. It was on display at the 1931 Paris Auto Show and is said to be "one of the most coveted prewar sports cars."

She's certainly beautiful. The Type 55 was built atop the chassis that underpinned Bugatti's Type 45 and Type 47 Grand Prix racers. It has unique features not included on later versions, like the GP-style hood with shortened louvers on the side and diagonal louvers in the top of the hood. And dig the yellow-tinted glass on the headlamps.

Underneath the hood is a supercharged, twin-overhead cam inline-eight cylinder engine that makes about 132 horsepower driving a four-speed manual transmission. So a
Bugatti Chiron, it's not. But it was apparently owned by Duc de le Tremoille, a prominent French aristocrat, then by a Bugatti enthusiast named Dr. Peter Williamson before being restored by a Bugatti specialist in 2012. It also won the French Cup at the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.

So, a chance to add a bit of style panache and history to your garage, if you've got a few spare million lying around. The Scottsdale auction takes place Jan. 19-20.

Thieves steal thousands of Lego sets destined to be Christmas presents for children in hospitals across the UK

Thieves steal thousands of Lego sets destined to be Christmas presents for children in hospitals across the UK

Thieves have stolen 2,000 Lego sets from a charity which was due to distribute the sets as Christmas presents to children's hospitals and hospices across the UK.
The sets were stolen from Fairy Bricks, a charity based in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, which delivers around £7,500 of sets every month nationwide.
Thieves broke into the charity's van while it was parked on an industrial estate off New Hey Road, Huddersfield, overnight on Thursday.
The stolen sets were a promotion by Lego stores last Christmas and cannot be purchased in shops.
West Yorkshire Police Inspector James Kitchen said: “The items stolen were intended to help improve the wellbeing of children who may be in hospital, or hospices over the festive period.
“I would appeal to anyone to may have been in the area overnight who may have seen or heard anything suspicious or who has any information to come forward.
“I would also urge anyone who may see the sets advertised for sale via online auction sites or social media, or who is invited to buy them in person to think twice.
“These are not sets you would be able to ordinarily purchase and their availability to you may not be legitimate.
“If you are in doubt of the sets origin, don’t buy them, but contact the police.
“Our enquiries are very much on going to find those responsible.”
The door at the side of the vehicle was opened and peeled back to steal the toys.
Leanne Davies, from Fairy Bricks, said "The van was opened like a can of beans, it's horrendous.
"We are going to have to work a lot harder, we won't be beaten."
The sets stolen are set number 40222 - a 24 in 1 building set that was issued promotionally by Lego and cannot be purchased in shops.
Anyone with any information about the incident, who has seen the sets for sale or has been invited to buy them should contact police via 101 quoting  13170537540 . Information can also be passed to Crimestoppers on  0800 555 111 .

Jose Mourinho pays surprise visit to factory workers in Solihull - to help make his OWN new car

Jose Mourinho stunned factory workers in Solihull as he picked up the keys for his exclusive new car.
The Manchester United boss paid a surprise visit to the £2billion state-of-the art Jaguar Land Rover plant earlier this week.
Mourinho, 54, wore the company’s signature green overalls as he helped oversee the making of his bespoke motor by joining workers on factory floor.
The Portuguese gave the staff a glimpse of what life is like inside the Old Trafford dressing room as he deliver a motivational pep talk before staff put the finishing touches on his new car, the 100,000th F-Pace.
The Jaguar F-PACE retails from £34,170. And Mourinho was thrilled to see his new wheels, which were recently voted the best SUV car on the planet by the 2017 World Car of the Year voting panel, for the first time.
“It was an amazing experience to visit Jaguar’s factory and see all the cars, technology and hard work that goes into developing such a beautiful car,” said Mourinho, speaking to Mirror Football days before his title-chasing side take on Newcastle in the Premier League.
The car is the fastest selling Jaguar in history, reaching the 100,000 sales mark in record time.
Jaguar Land Rover ambassador and Manchester United manager José Mourinho visited the JLR plant in Solihull today (13/11) to see his F-Pace being made on the shop floor.
Mourinho test drove the F-PACE a year ago in extreme conditions, mastering the skill of high-speed drifting on a frozen lake in Sweden.
“It’s great to have one of the most successful football managers drive the F-PACE,” said Jaguar’s director of design, Ian Callum.

Spidey Start (Tom Holland) breaks nose filming Avengers 4

Spidey Start (Tom Holland) breaks nose filming Avengers 4

We reckon Tom Holland's Spidey senses are tingling more than ever at the moment, as the actor has reportedly broken his nose while shooting Avengers 4. Bit of bad luck.
Holland showed off his latest on-set injury in an Instagram Story (you can see it here), joking that it was a "great way" to wrap up filming.
While Holland's injury gives almost nothing away in terms of what we can expect from the follow-up to Avengers: Infinity War, it sort of suggests that Spider-Man is in for some exciting scenes.
Not that we'd expect anything less, of course.
a man wearing a red shirt
finity War hasn't graced cinema screens yet, but clues about the as-yet-untitled Avengers 4 are already coming through thick and fast – much like Thor's hair.
Following on from Robert Downey Jr's sneak peek behind-the-scenes last month, new on-set photos have emerged revealing something very intriguing about Chris Hemsworth's Thor.
Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. et al. looking at the camera
No, we're not here to talk about his naked armpits again, but rather the fact that he and Tom Hiddleston have been spotted revisiting past incarnations of their characters.
In other semi-revealing Avengers 4 news, Iron Man recently shared an image that suggested Tony Stark and co will make it out of Infinity War alive.
In the pic, we see Tony's chair placed in front of Steve Rogers' (Captain America), Natasha Romanoff's (Black Widow) and Scott Lang's (Ant Man). Exciting stuff.
Avengers: Infinity War will be released in the UK on April 27, 2018, and in the US on May 4, 2018.Avengers 4 is scheduled to premiere in 2019.

The young secondary school boy Identified as Sosa Vaughn, shared photos of himself kissing his “Ex-Girlfriend” in public and wrote on his Instagram; “I’m Back Flexing with my ex”.
Sosa immediately took down the photos, after the serious bashing he received from the online community.
While many felt it was so cute, others say he is too young to engaged in such PDA. He pulled down the photo…. But rather than being remorseful for days or perhaps stay off social media till he grows up, he returns again later and posted a photo of himself with the caption;
“I’m finna stop flex on my ex and get back flexing with her”.

I am the only child, I can’t wait for my parents to die, so I can inherit everything” — South African Guy shocking tweet.

A South Africa user, Phetsogo‏ has declared that he cannot wait for his parents to die, perhaps in a car accident, so he can inherit their properties, which includes his dad’s 4 cars and his mom’s 2 cars.

In a tweet which has since gone viral on Twitter, the unidentified guy said: “I’m the only child, i can’t wait for my parents to die so i can inherit everything. My dad has 4 cars and mom 2”

Since his tweet went viral, social media users have commented on it, and wondered how someone whose parent nurtured for years, would wish death upon them.
“A condom would have saved us all from this tweet”, tweeted a user, who was obviously disgusted by Phetsogo’s tweet. “He is a product of bad sex”, another user added.
“Did it ever cross your mind that your father might have other children outside his marriage to your mother? RSA law entitles them to a share”, a tweeter tweeted.
Another reply reads: “And you wonder why you’re the only child, they did not want to multiply the stupidity, you are a bunch of stupid, 3 in 1.”
Not moved by all of this, Phetsogo stood his ground and said eveyone was just jealous his parents are rich!

Bathing kangaroo has perfect beach body

Bathing kangaroo has perfect beach body

his is the bizarre moment a gardener spotted a threatening 'bodybuilder' 16st kangaroo bathing its bulging biceps in an Australian creek.
Jackson Vincent snapped these astounding photographs of the huge roo tensing its rippling muscles in Boodjidup Creek in Margaret River, Western Australia, on Tuesday.
The 27-year-old couldn't believe his eyes when he clocked the mammoth 6ft 5in mammal standing in the water – and feared it could be preparing to attack beloved dog Dharma.
Jackson, from Freemantle, Perth, had been visiting his grandmother in Margaret River and saw the gargantuan animal on her property at about 11.30am.
He said: "I have been going to that creek since I was a little boy and there have always been kangaroos on the property.
"I was walking my dog and we saw this huge roo standing in the water. I have never seen a kangaroo standing in the water like that, we could just see his head at first, and he was one of the biggest I have ever seen.
"As I ran around him to take a picture he came closer and that was when I realised he was coming right at me and he was really big.
"I am pretty confident around animals but the moment when he started to come out of the water my heart definitely jumped and I decided to take a few steps back.
"He looked to be at least two metres (6ft 5in) tall or taller and must have weighed at least 100 kg (16st).
"He had a really big body and was taller than me. There are a lot of roos at my grandma's place but I have never seen one that muscular before – he was a big macho male.
"I decided to get Dharma out of there as we thought the kangaroo was going to lure him into the water to drown him."
Jackson's Facebook post with his images of the kangaroo's muscular physique quickly went viral, racking up thousands of likes and shares.
Online commenters were quick to point out the animal's impressive bodybuilder-like muscular shoulders, biceps and chest and threatening posture.
After dropping Kelpie Dharma back at his grandmother's house Jackson returned to the creek to see the roo was still there.
Jackson added: "His claws were really big – they were as long as my hand. That for me was even scarier than his muscles, they looked nasty.
"I have never seen a kangaroo be so defensive – it definitely looked like he was puffing his chest muscles up.
"I definitely wouldn't like to take him on in a boxing match."
