A mother and son who happened to have the same first day of school celebrated in an adorable way.
Katie Tucker and her 4-year-old son, Edric Tucker, had their first day of school on August 14. Katie began dental school, while her son began his final year of Spanish language immersion preschool. To celebrate, the two took inspiration from a popular back-to-school trend and posed for a photo with a board that noted their respective first days back.
Katie and her husband, Scott Tucker, hoped the photo would encourage other parents who are in school or are thinking about returning to school.
